PREMISE: A diverse Kingdom reclaimed by snakes from a race of fairies copes with the machinations of the kings brother. When the next generation is born, they are confronted with two ideologies: to restrain their base instinct to exploit natural power or to give in and rule unchecked.

SYNOPSIS: Long ago in the Kingdom of Dembe, oppressive magical beings called Fairies ruled the natural world. Snakes rebel and defeat the fairies but with a cost, the fairies curse those of the royal line to devour their subjects in a fit of uncontrollable rage. To counter the curse one fairy makes a deal, they will transform into a crane and serve the snake royal family, useing their magic to restrain the curse. Sanyu the current royal seer is brought a prophecy by Koko the royal healer that a new heir will be born.

The king's brother Prince Musa is approached by a Fairy named Awiti, who proposes a plan to kill the queen and install him as king. When King Mukasa goes on a curse-fueled rampage, Sanyu must use her last enchanted egg to calm him. After the danger passes, Sanyu is then charged by the queen to break the curse. Prince Musa tells the king that he doesn't hold the same values as him, that peaceful coexistence between species is the only way to prosper as a society, and so is disinherited from the throne. On the day Prince Naku is born, Awiti engineers an incident that brings Musa back into the royal family and allows him to influence the new prince in the years to come. Years go by. Sanyu's son Azizi, Prince Naku, and Koko the royal healer grow up together and teach each other about tolerating and celebrating the differences of others. However, In private Musa also influences Naku, poisoning him with the idea that it is their right to devour their subjects. On the night of the Full moon festival, Awiti causes a landslide that eliminates all food sources of the kingdom, the downfall of all of the surrounding kingdoms. The king manages to protect his people and rebuild but Awiti's plan is now in motion. The crisis further pushes Prince Naku to confront the philosophies of Musa and his father. When Mukasa is assassinated, Naku is grief-stricken and leaves to find a new home. In his absence, Musa takes power with the magic he stole from Awiti and rules the kingdom with an iron fist. But in his arrogance, he is tricked by Awiti into relinquishing his power leaving the kingdom under the control of fares once more.


TITLE: DEEP TROUBLE

LOG LINE: A Young woman grieving the loss of her mother must face the aquatic horror that stalks her new home.

PREMISE: After moving to Neptune bay following the death of her mother, AVA must confront a mermaid who has been luring young men to their death. Synopsis: AVA and her brother Oliver move to the town of Neptune’s Bay to live with their Aunt Flo. Following a series of mysteries disappearances in the bay AVA discovers that Nereids, a type of Mermaid, have been using the town as their hunting grounds and becomes determined to stop them. After confronting Melody, the Nereid who has been perpetrating the disappearances, Ava convinces Noah and Shelly to help her put an end to their reign of terror. In the climactic battle it is revealed that AVA’s mother and Aunt Flo were also Nereids who gave up the water. Noah is killed by Melody and AVA nearly too but at the last moment Flo saves AVA and Kills Melody. In the aftermath of the battle Flo disappears leaving everything to AVA and Oliver discovers that he too is a Nereid.
